Denise R. Claton
Denise is Of Counsel to the Davis Brown Law Firm practicing in the immigration department.
Denise’s work is primarily focused on assisting employers and foreign nationals with the permanent residency process.
When employers decide that a foreign national is needed in a position, they encounter numerous immigration law hurdles including prevailing wage determinations, domestic recruitment efforts, and documentation. Denise is able to assist employers with PERM Labor Certifications, compliance with immigration law, and any audits that arise. Following a successful PERM application, Denise assists employers with Immigrant Worker Petitions (I-140).
Denise has prior experience in other employment based immigration matters and business law but her practice now is exclusively in PERMs and immigrant petition work.
Denise is a past Iowa Vice-Chair of the Iowa/Nebraska American Immigration Lawyers Association Chapter.
Denise is a Vice-Chair of the SC&RA Ladies Group and a past board member of the Greater Green Bay YMCA. She also manages the Mayo High School Boys’ Soccer 9th grade, junior varsity, and varsity teams.
Denise has two teenage sons who are very active in club and high school soccer and hockey, so she and her husband spend a large portion of their free time at youth sporting events. She is active in her community and is a school volunteer. She enjoys exercising, spending time with her family and dog, and reading.
