Tara Z. Hall
CONCENTRATION
Tara is a shareholder of the Davis Brown Law Firm. She joined the Litigation Division in 2005 and maintains a general litigation practice including, but not limited to, business litigation, employment and labor relations, litigation and appeals and real estate litigation.
In her time at the firm, Tara has represented her clients in
administrative, district court and appellate proceedings. She practices
before both state and federal courts.
ACADEMICS
Tara graduated with high honors from Drake Law School in May 2005. While at Drake, she served as the Executive Editor of the Drake Law Review and her student note was published in the Drake Law Review. Tara Zager, Note, Terrorism Coverage and the United States Insurance Industry: An International Inquiry in Search of a Long-Term Solution, 53 Drake L. Rev. 545 (2005).
Tara also served as the Eighth Circuit Lieutenant Governor of American Bar Association Representatives for the American Bar Association Law Student Division, as the American Bar Association Representative for the Student Bar Association and as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. She received her bachelor's degree in English from the University of Iowa in 2002.
Community
Tara is a member of the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa and the Drake Law School Board of Counselors. Tara is also active in the Polk County Bar Association as a Co-Chair of the Law Day Committee.
PERSONAL
Tara grew up in Waterloo, Iowa and graduated from Waterloo West High School. She and her husband Nic reside in Des Moines.
