Areas of Law

Education

The department advises clients in matters pertaining to primary, secondary and post-secondary education.  The firm represents educators and members of the Iowa State Education Association (ISEA) in employment disputes before school boards, the Iowa Civil Rights Commission, the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners, the Public Employment Relations Board, and state and federal courts.  Issues addressed include termination, tenure revocation, licensure, collective bargaining, grievances and discipline matters.
