Deb Tharnish, senior shareholder of the Davis Brown Law Firm, has been unanimously elected by the Board of Directors of the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers as a Fellow in the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers. Deb has been practicing law since 1980 and has a general practice in, but not limited to, business litigation and employment law.

Founded in 1962, the Academy's mission is to provide a forum in which Iowa's top trial lawyers can exchange information and viewpoints on the many aspects of trial law and to promote professionalism.

The Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers' membership is limited to 250 attorneys who have displayed exceptional skills, the highest integrity and have dedicated their professional lives to trial practice. Membership in the Academy is considered one of the highest honors in the profession.
