On Dec. 4, 2012, Stephen W. Roberts received the 2012 Linda S. Weindruch Award at the Iowa Taxpayer Association’s annual meeting, which was held at the Meadows Events Center in Altoona. The award recognizes individuals who through his/her outstanding accomplishments and contributions has promoted and protected the principles and policies of fair business taxation.

The Iowa Taxpayers Association (ITA) offers this award in memory and in recognition of Linda S. Weindruch, an active long-time member of the ITA, who passed away after a long battle with multiple sclerosis in October 2004.

Steve, a name partner and member of the Davis Brown Business Division, practices primarily in the areas of tax and transaction, lobbying and governmental relations and administrative law. He specializes in cases involving Iowa corporate income tax, nexus and sales and use tax for the Iowa Department of Revenue. Steve currently serves on the ITA board of directors and has been active with the association for nearly 20 years.
