Davis Brown attorneys Courtney Strutt Todd and Liz Shoemaker will present "Legal Considerations for Small Business Owners" at an upcoming "mini" Immigrant Entrepreneur's Summit (IES) session on Tuesday, April 22nd. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Iowa State
University Extension and Outreach office, 3109 Old Highway 218 S., in
Iowa City. The presentation, which takes place from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., will address many of the common questions and problems of first-time small business owners.

The Immigrant Entrepreneur's Summit is an annual event that brings together businesses of diverse
backgrounds to share, learn, and celebrate the immigrant
entrepreneurship experience and contribution to the overall community. The Iowa City session is one of four new "mini" IES events that will be held around the state. Other locations include Cedar Rapids, Davenport (July 22) and Sioux City (September 23). The Seventh Annual IES will be held November 8, 2014 in the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) FFA Building on the Ankeny Campus.
