On Sunday, April 27, from 2-5 p.m. at the 11th Annual Mentor Iowa Auction, David M. Ericksonwill be named the recipient of the 2014 Tidrick Honors Award for his 15 years of leadership, dedication and guidance as a mentor and member of the organization’s Board of Directors.
Through his participation in Mentor Iowa, David has served as a friend and advisor to a number of court-involved children in central Iowa and is an active participant in Mentor Iowa’s group activities and special events, including Summerfest and Grapevine, among others. In addition, David has held various leadership positions with Mentor Iowa having served as Secretary, Vice-President and Board President.
Founded in 1974 by Polk County Juvenile Court Judge Donald Tidrick, interested court personnel and concerned citizens, Mentor Iowa is recognized within the community as a leading mentoring organization for children who are under the jurisdiction of the Juvenile Court. ‘
