Ann E. Naffier
Ann is an associate of the Davis Brown Law Firm. She joined the Business Division in September 2011 and is a member of the Immigration Department. She is fluent in Spanish.
As an immigration attorney, Ann assists with family-based immigration applications, including fiancé visas, I-130 familiy-based petitions, marriage-based immigration, adjustment of status, and consular processing for familiy-based immigrant visas. Ann also represents individuals and companies with employment-based immigration including H-1B Petitions. Additionally, she assists with humanitarian immigration programs, such as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, Temporary Protected Status, Asylum, Cancellation of Removal, Prosecutorial Discretion, and U Visas.

Ann is also active in the Des Moines and greater immigration advocacy community. She is an active member and currently serves as Chair of the Iowa-Nebraska Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association. She is a board member of the Polk County Volunteer Lawyers Project and participates regularly as a volunteer lawyer with the HOLA Clinic, Justice for our Neighbors, American Friends Service Committee, and local free immigration legal clinics for refugees in Des Moines. She is deeply involved in immigration reform advocacy efforts in Iowa and a current member of the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild.
