Dave is a senior shareholder of the Davis Brown Law firm in the Litigation Division. His practice includes but is not limited to the areas of complex business litigation, product liability defense (pharmaceutical products in particular), and cases involving patents and other intellectual property matters.

SUMMARY
Over the last seven years, Dave has been Iowa counsel for American Home Products/Wyeth in defense of the diet drug/phen-fen litigation. That representation has included the successful defense of a request for certification of a statewide class action and the disposition of over 75 individual cases.
Dave is one of the few trial lawyers in Iowa who consistently litigates patent cases, and has an active practice in that area. He has appeared before the U.S. Court for the Federal Circuit on patent matters.
