CONCENTRATION
Deb is a senior shareholder of the Davis Brown Law Firm. Deb has a general practice in but not limited to Business Litigation and Employment Law. She was a member of the Firm's Board of Directors from 1996 through 1999, serving as President in 1998 and 1999.

Her business litigation includes contract and business tort cases and real estate assessment appeals. Her employment practice includes advice to employers to prevent employment-related problems. The litigation includes all types of discrimination claims, wrongful termination claims, and restrictive covenant cases.
She also deals with real estate assessment appeals and handles adoptions for families.

She is an alumnus of the Polk County Volunteer Lawyers Project, and past president of the Board of Directors of Hawthorn Hill, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Des Moines, and of the St. Mary of Nazareth Pastoral Council. She also serves on the Des Moines Public Library Foundation.
PERSONAL
Deb and her husband, Nicholas Roby, have a blended family of seven children.
