Alexandria M. Christian

Alex specializes in the field of trademarks and branding issues, but also focuses her practice on copyright, licensing and intellectual property policing and enforcement. She helps counsel clients in a wide variety of areas and enjoys working a range of clients such as individuals, start-ups and larger companies with complex intellectual property portfolios. Alex will be writing about trademark and branding issues, including various tips and practice guides in this area. She will also be writing about issues relating to copyrights, licensing, intellectual property portfolio management, policing and enforcement and intellectual property litigation.


Matthew W. Coryell

Matt holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and is a registered patent attorney. Matt specializes in biotechnology and chemical patents. Matt also works closely with tech transfer offices and biotech companies with patent prosecution and licensing matters. Matt will be writing about all areas of intellectual property, but will mostly be focusing on patent topics.


Sean D. Solberg

Sean is the Chair of the Intellectual Property Department and works from both our Des Moines and Emmetsburg offices. He is a registered patent attorney and serves as patent counsel to clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries including medical device, biotech and agriculture.  Sean will be blogging mainly about patent topics, especially those relating to medical device technologies, universities, and start-ups.


Matthew A. Warner-Blankenship

Matt is a registered patent attorney specializing in biomedical and mechanical patents, as well as software patents. He does a great deal of work with tech transfer offices and start-up companies.  Matt will be writing about patents and copyrights. He will also be writing about issues relating to tech transfer offices, universities, Internet law, privacy, net neutrality and licensing.
