Matthew W. Coryell, a registered patent attorney, recently joined the Intellectual Property Department of the Davis Brown Law Firm as an associate attorney.  

Prior to joining Davis Brown, Matt was an Intellectual Property and Venture Associate at the University of Iowa Research Foundation Technology Transfer Office. In this role, he routinely managed patent prosecutions, national and international filing strategies, patentability analyses, freedom to operate analyses and inventor interviews. In addition, he counseled start-ups on IP strategy, FDA regulatory issues and business plan development.
