The Davis Brown Law Firm is pleased to announce that Christopher E. James has been elected shareholder, effective January 2013. 

Christopher is a member of the firm’s Business Division. He maintains a general practice including, but not limited to, tax controversy, state and local taxation, international tax and federal tax. He also handles a wide range of corporate and administrative law matters and has served as an expert witness in civil matters involving questions of taxation.

Christopher graduated with honors from Northwestern University Law School with a LL.M in tax law in 2009. In 2006, he  graduated with honors from Drake Law School where he was an Opperman Scholar. While at Drake, in addition to being elected as Vice President of the Student Bar Association, he served as the Managing Editor of the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law. Christopher received his bachelor's degree in Accounting, cum laude, from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro in 2003.
