Alex Christian recently joined the Davis Brown Law Firm as an associate in the Business Division. Her practice is in the Intellectual Property Department focusing on trademarks.
Alex has extensive experience in trademark prosecution having prepared numerous trademark applications, trademark auditing services, negotiating co-existence agreements as well as arguing before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Alex also counsels clients on brand portfolio management. She has significant experience with small breweries and restaurants.
Alex is involved with the Pink Boots Society, a membership for women who work in or for the craft beer industry, the Craft Brewers Association, the Iowa Brewers Guild and serves as a coach to the Drake Law School Trademark Moot Court team.
Prior to rejoining Davis Brown, Alex was an associate attorney at McKee, Voorhees & Sease, PLC practicing in the area of intellectual property law.
Alex earned her J.D. at the University of Iowa College of Law where she participated in the Saul Lefkowitz Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition and won numerous awards. Her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Philosophy is from DePaul University in Chicago, IL.
