Alex represents businesses, non-profits, and individuals with respect to matters involving entity formation, applying for and maintaining
501(c)(3) status, corporate and nonprofit compliance and governance, tax law, real estate law, contract drafting and negotiation, and mergers and acquisitions.
Alex joined Davis Brown in 2019 as an associate attorney in the Business Division. Previously, Alex practiced in Omaha, Nebraska, at Fraser Stryker.

Alex completed his undergraduate studies at Creighton University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with concentrations in accounting and finance, summa cum laude. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Iowa College of Law, with distinction.
At Iowa, he served as Executive Editor of the Iowa Law Review and he provided tax services to the public through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
Alex passed all sections of the CPA exam in Iowa in 2010 (license pending accounting work experience).
