Krystle L. Campa
Krystle is a senior shareholder attorney at the Davis Brown Law Firm. She is a member of the firm’s Business Division and practices at the firm’s Highland Office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Krystle practices primarily in real estate transactions, business transactions and estate planning. She represents both commercial and residential clients in a
wide range of matters including:
- Wind energy acquisition, development and financing
- Acquisitions and sales, closings
- Corporate/entity organization
- Planning, zoning and development, including subdivisions and condos
- Clearing title issues, including quiet title actions
- Estate planning, wills and trusts

- Abstract examinations and title opinions/title commitments
- Financing, loan document preparation
- Legal and enforceability opinions
- Landlord and tenant matters, including forcible entry and detainer (FED) actions
- Leases, including tower leases for telecommunication companies

Firm Leadership
Krystle is a leader within the firm. She previously coordinated Davis Brown’s Summer Associate Program, served as the associate representative for the Board of Directors in 2012, and served on the firm's Professional Personnel Committee and Budget Committee.

Community
Krystle was a member of the 2013-2014 class of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, and she continues to be involved with the Leadership Institute as the Governance Chair-Elect on the Board of Governors. She previously served on the alumni committee for the Leadership Institute. Krystle’s class project while participating in the Leadership Institute program was Play It Forward, which benefited Courage League Sports, an adaptive sports gym offering both competitive and non-competitive sports programs for children who may be disabled, ill or facing emotional challenges. This year Krystle will help coach the Dominators power soccer team at Courage League Sports. She also previously served on the East Des Moines Chamber Board of Directors and was active with the American Cancer Society’s Coaches vs. Cancer Hoops for Hope Gala for several years.
Academics
In 2007, Krystle received her law degree from Drake University Law School with High Distinction. She was the Managing Editor of the Drake Law Review, received the Charles and Dora Taylor scholarship, and was elected Order of the Coif.
Krystle studied finance at Creighton University where she received her Bachelor of Science and Business Administration degree in 2004. While at Creighton, Krystle participated at the Division 1 level on the women’s soccer and basketball teams and was an Academic All-American. In addition, Krystle was a student manager of the Creighton Endowment, a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Fraternity, and was inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa National Honor Society. She was also heavily involved in community volunteer activities.
