Scott M. Brennan
Scott is a senior shareholder of the Davis Brown Law Firm. He is the past Vice President of the firm’s Board of Directors and the firm’s longtime liaison with Lex Mundi, the world’s leading network of independent law firms.
Scott has a general practice in but not limited to,
litigation matters concerning construction litigation, business and commercial litigation, administrative matters and insurance defense, including personal injury, dram shop, and damage to property. Scott also advises clients on administration issues and handles appeals to appellate courts and administrative bodies.
Scott has represented clients in numerous contract, commercial, and construction matters and the amounts sought by the opposing parties have, on occasion, exceeded $1,000,000. Scott has also successfully litigated multiple jury and bench trials involving contract and insurance defense matters before federal, state, and administrative bodies.
- Obtained a defense verdict in a suit when the plaintiff sought millions in damages from a lender.
- Successfully defended a bank in a suit brought by a disgruntled customer.
- Represented a bidder for a government contract in an administrative matter. The matter ultimately went to trial and Scott’s client successfully obtained a government contract in excess of $3,000,000.
