The #RuralPride campaign is a project of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Civil Rights, in collaboration with the National Center for Lesbian Rights and The True Colors Fund. The campaign aims to engage LGBT rural communities across the United States in a conversation with USDA and other federal agencies on issues including rural housing loans, community facility grants, and bullying. LGBT Rural Summits are being held across the country as part of the campaign.
