Earlham, Iowa recently celebrated the Grand Re-Opening of the Bricker-Price Block building on Chestnut Avenue in downtown Earlham. The revitalization project began in 2016 with the formation of the nonprofit Bricker-Price Block Restoration Corporation and support from the City of Earlham and Madison County.
When she was a partner at the Earlham law firm of Nelson, Young, and Braland, Breanna Young was approached to join the board of the newly formed organization. Excited about the opportunity to help the community grow, Breanna joined as secretary. The board has overseen the renovation of the building creating spaces for the local Earlham community to use as well as assets that can bring outside groups to the city.
Breanna and the board have been planning the event for months to celebrate the completion of the project and what they hope is the start of a newly revitalized community.
