On Friday, October 26, 2018, Davis Brown hosted students Adam Ripp and Jared Manternach of the University of Iowa Legal Clinic for a discussion on immigration law.
As they conduct research on immigration policy in Iowa, the students wanted to discuss how recent legislation may impact the clients of immigration practitioners. Davis Brown attorney Daniela Talmadge and her colleagues in the immigration department helped the students connect with attorneys from the central Iowa. The group gathered at Davis Brown to hear policy updates from the students and the attorneys shared about their practices.
The students commented, “We always enjoy opportunities to take what we’ve learned in law school and apply it in the real world. It’s great to see so much support from Davis Brown and other immigration attorneys in the area.”
Many Davis Brown attorneys, including Daniela, worked in the University of Iowa Legal Clinic while in Law School.
