Several Davis Brown attorneys presented and attended the 28th Annual Legal and Legislative Conference at the Iowa Events Center on February 5.
Employee benefits attorneys Courtney Strutt Todd and Jana Weiler and employment attorney Michele Brott presented “Coping as an HR Department of One.” By walking through case studies encountered by human resources professionals every day, Courtney, Jana, and Michele reviewed the top legal and regulatory obligations for human resource departments including impacts of certain events on benefits, policy updates, and annual trainings.
