Breanna Young recently joined the Davis Brown Law Firm as a special counsel attorney in the Estate Planning department. Breanna has over 10 years of experience assisting farmers, individuals, families, and small businesses planning for the future. Prior to joining Davis Brown, Breanna was a partner at Nelson, Young, and Braland in Earlham, Iowa.
Breanna is an active advocate for vulnerable members of the community. She has served on two statewide judicial committees, one to protect children and vulnerable adults and another to evaluate the handling of probate estates in the court system. She volunteers with the Iowa Legal Aid Volunteer Lawyers Project helping clients with wills and powers of attorney and is an active member of the bar serving on multiple committees. Breanna is also an involved volunteer with Iowa Safe Schools presenting to school teachers, administrators, and parents about ways to make Iowa schools safe for LGBTQ children.
Breanna was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, earned her undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Iowa, and lives with her family in Waukee.
