In December 2020, wills, trusts, and probate lawyer Breanna Young was appointed to serve on the Technology in the Practice Committee of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). She has been an ACTEC Fellow since 2016.
“I look forward to serving with other ACTEC Fellows to improve our trusts and estates practice through the use of technology. I appreciate the perspectives that the other Fellows bring from their practices across the globe,” Breanna said about her appointment.
The Technology in the Practice Committee addresses the many ways ACTEC Fellows can use technology to make their practices more efficient and enjoyable, including reviews and demonstrations of hardware, software, apps, and processes. The committee also deals with the challenges that arise as a result of the increased use of technology, including security and client confidentiality issues.
