Davis Brown Law Firm Remains Open, Closes Physical Offices - March 20, 2020

Davis Brown continues to closely monitor COVID-19 and its impact. Keeping our clients, community, employees, and families safe is our first priority.

Like many businesses, we are following the Iowa Department of Public Health and CDC guidance for our business operations. To help “flatten the curve” and slow the spread of the virus, we canceled/postponed non-essential travel, canceled conference attendance, moved meetings virtual, encouraged everyone to work from home, and increased social distancing when in the office.

To further safeguard our clients and employees, we are closing our physical offices to the public, effective immediately. Years of business continuity planning have prepared us for this scenario and clients will continue to receive the support and service to which they are accustomed.

What This Means for You

Your daily interactions with Davis Brown should change very little. Contact your attorney as you always have, by email, office phone (515.288.2500 or direct attorney number), or cell phone.

While our physical offices are closed and our staff are working remotely, a small team will be in the office to handle in-person tasks, such as scanning and electronically delivering mail and receiving abstracts. Please contact your attorney with any concerns about other in-person needs.

As the COVID-19 situation continues to develop, we are prepared to handle unexpected and disruptive events. Our business continuity team meets daily to review processes, workflows, and technology to ensure that our work is done and our clients are well-served, whether we are in our offices or our basements.
